Your Job

Work closed with design Center to support on process development for new project flawless launch in plant and continuously improve process engineering capability. Develop and implement new processes/technology or major changes to existing processes. Create and maintain documentation associated with assigned processes. Troubleshoot and solve processing issues in regards to ongoing production as well as with new product introductions. Continuously stabilize and improve existing production processes and develop new processes to improve the productivity/quality/process capability. 

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for new project flawless launch into DG plant
  • Lead to conduct new product trial run per trial run plan and coordinate cross function team to review trial run result, and follow up corrective/improvement action
  • Lead x-functional team to conduct PFMEA, & maintain/update with function team.
  • Responsible for Material Master Creation– MMCR (Including process flow chart, BOM usage, High level cost centre, defect rate, capacity data per mfg. strategy etc.)
  • Support flawless launch of the products with handover flawless information from NPI to mass production.
  • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining related process engineering documents required for launches(FC/WI/SOP etc). Assist production in monitoring compliance.
  • Continuously improvement in production productivity, quality and safty to reduce the MFG cost.
  • Responsible for the capacity expansion in mass production .
  • MES OPC system-MPD moldelling creation/maintaince/update/optimization
  • New process technology introduction with aligning product framework to improve the process capability and competitiveness.
  • Process failure analysis&trouble shooting with systematic method and process yiled improvement in mass production.
  • Evaluate PCN/ECN from ME view, or raise PCN/ECN.
  • Responsible for process risk improvement and management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree, major in engineering, Mechanical Electronics.
  • Above 8 years work experience of manufacturing engineering.
  • Knowledge of connector or cable manufacturing processes; stripping, molding, stamping, and assembly and ability to openly share this knowledge with others.
  • Result-oriented , good communication skills and strong logic & systematic thinking ability.
  • Good organizational skills to handle lots of complex technical data and manage multiple competing project priorities
  • Familiar with new products introduction process.
  • Successfully complete all required ME/MIE PDP (Product Development Process) elements for each assigned project.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving and Lean manufacturing techniques ((DMAIC, 5Why, DOE, SPC, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills, can directly communite with overseas colleague for technical issue.
