Job Description: As a1st Shift Machine Operator with our metal company in Asheville, you will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment to bend metal for our products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career with our company.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust machines as necessary for optimal performance.
• Load materials into the machine.
• Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet specified measurements.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Handle unexpected tasks as they arise.
• Assist in training others on machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a measurement test.
• Successful completion of background and drug tests.
• Steel toe/composite shoes are mandatory.

Desired Qualities:

• Full range of motion.
• Eagerness to grow within the company.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm

Compensation: Starting at $18/hr (with opportunities for benefits and pay increase upon permanent hire).
