RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Visual Designer to join for an approximate 7-month project!

This role is remote, but candidates in the Seattle area are preferred for occasional onsite needs.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Visual Designer with experience in iterative and collaborative design processes. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, expertise in web and graphic design, and a keen eye for typography. This role requires the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from entry-level to executive leadership, while working across a variety of creative projects. The designer will collaborate closely with teams in research, brand strategy, content strategy, go-to-market, and merchandising to achieve key business objectives.

As a Visual Designer, You Will

  • Develop merchandising and marketing campaigns across multiple online and offline channels.
  • Utilize performance data, including usability studies and metric tests, to inform design decisions.
  • Apply user experience best practices for web and mobile interactions.
  • Leverage current and emerging marketing channels to engage customers effectively.
  • Present and advocate for visual design solutions to leadership and business partners.
  • Collaborate with the broader design community to maintain brand consistency across marketing channels.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in web and graphic design.
  • Partner with various teams to enhance and optimize brand presence across categories.

As an Applicant, You Bring

  • 3+ years of professional design experience in an advertising or creative agency.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in online marketing, retail merchandising, visual branding, and user-centered design.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch/Adobe XD.
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to create pixel-perfect designs.
  • Ability to synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders in an iterative design environment.
  • Passion for innovative, customer-focused design solutions.
  • Experience working within and contributing to design systems.
  • Understanding of information architecture, usability, accessibility, UI, and UX design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues independently.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently defend design decisions to leadership.

Compensation

Pay Range: $58.00 - $78.00 (Hourly) 

The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
