YOUR IMPACT

As part of our Software Engineering unit, you will contribute to developing OpenText software products such as synchronization software “Micro Focus Connect”. Your expertise with Java development and Java-based frameworks in multi-tier web applications will help shape new features, working in an agile environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive digital transformation for enterprise customers.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • You will be responsible for the development process end-to-end, from the requirements analysis to the development and testing
  • Participating in the design of software applications running on multiple platform types
  • Understanding customer needs, including user workflows/tasks and transform them to product plans
  • Sharing knowledge on coding, code reviewing, testing and debugging practices

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • University degree in an IT-related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in agile software development based on Java, JavaScript and SQL
  • Understanding of multi-tier web applications (e.g. Tomcat, Jetty)
  • Experience in UI frameworks (e.g. React, Ext.JS)
  • Knowledge of unit test frameworks (e.g. Junit 4 or 5) is considered an advantage
  • Beneficial would be familiarity with some of the following technologies: PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Gradle, MyBatis, Jersey
