Team Intro The USDS User Business Operations team is looking for a highly motivated data analyst to help provide important insights to our content, gaming, and public policies teams. The ideal candidate has an interest in social media and gaming, as well as some experience working with consumer data sets. The working environment will be fast paced and require the person who fills the role to juggle multiple tasks at the same time. This person will also need to excel at collaboration with team members. Responsibilities: - Create dashboards and automated reports for stakeholders. - Write and optimize queries to pull data efficiently. - Communicate results to teammates. - Be an expert in the data available to the team for analysis.
Minimum Qualifications - 1+ years of experience in data science or analytics role - Proficiency in SQL - able to write structured queries on large data sets - Preferred experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Mode Analytics/Chartio/Tableau/Qlikview) - Preferred experience working with international partners at different time zones - Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in gaming
