Title: BI & Analytics Business Integration Manager

Department: BI & Analytics Hub (BIAHub)

Reports to: Head of BI & Analytics

Summary 

The BI & Analytics Business Integration Manager is a business role in the BI & Analytics Hub, which provides data-driven solutions and insights to support the organization's strategic goals and decision-making within a project scope. The role involves leading and managing BI activities and projects across different business units and domains, ensuring alignment with the BIAHub vision and standards.

Responsibilities, Objectives & Tasks

  • Overseeing BI activities & projects from initiation to completion (E2E)
  • Data & BI related consulting about Business Processes & Content
  • Leading Project Mgmt. role within BIAhub Projects

o Managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to achieve project goals.

o Follow up on progress (host of Proj. JF) and addresses needed decisions incl. SteerCo alignments

o Execute BI activities & projects within standards & guidelines of the BIAhub

  • Main communication & information layer between the customer, development team and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that BI solutions are aligned with business requirements

o Connect Process Owner & Data Owner

o Translate business requirement into business concept and coordinate afterwards to technical concept in cooperation with both parties

o Input provider to the frontend/ backend team in case of alignment/ change needs

o Integration of business and technical perspective

  • Facilitates testing activities and gathers feedback
  • Setup training activities & regular communication to educate stakeholders on new BI tools, processes, and best practices (self-service)

Skills, Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in BI and analytics, preferably in a consulting or business integration role
  • Proficient in various BI tools and platforms
  • General understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, ETL, and SQL
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions that meet business requirements and deliver value
  • Familiar with project management methodologies and best practices for BI projects
  • Ability to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities and translate them into BI solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Creative and innovative mindset, willing to explore new ideas and technologies
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and results-driven attitude
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills (English, German as a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
