ABOUT THE ROLE: The Security Supervisor primary function is to coordinate security activities on assigned shift and supervise Security team members. The Supervisor provides a friendly and safe environment for our guests and team members while protecting the company assets and maintaining a safe and secured entertainment atmosphere.
- Evaluates the performance of personnel under their supervision.
- Acts as a role model, always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Demonstrates and consistently role models Family-Style Service
- Supervises all Security and field activities to ensure adequate protection of company and guest assets as well as safety of customers and team members on property.
- Roam or stands at posts to ensure safety and security or to observe suspect activity or underage gamblers.
- Coordinates and handles all suspect activity with management.
- Inspires others with a clear direction by understanding and demonstrating a high level of commitment and energy in all endeavors.
- Trains and coordinates Security personnel to ensure compliance with all related policies to provide a safe environment for our guests.
- Coordinates Louisiana Economic Development Gaming Commission and company policies to ensure effective performance.
- Assists Security shift leader in Security functions to include scheduling, monitoring of alarms and reporting of disorder on the casino and hotel premises
- Ensures that posts in their zones are properly manned and that reliefs are provided when necessary.
- Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
- Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.
- Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills and acts as a positive role model for all employees.
- Communicates service breakdowns and team plans in buzz sessions and facilitates opportunity-seeking scenarios to consistently involve all team members in service improvements.
- Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events.
- Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards and holds employees accountable for meeting them.
- Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy.
- Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement and provides ongoing feedback.
- Uses Team Member survey data to improve the workplace, listens and responds to employees, recognizes, and rewards individual and team performance.
- Directs and supervises activities in assigned zone, with the assistance of the Security force.
- Assists Security Leader in Security functions to include scheduling, monitoring of alarms and reporting of disorder on premises.
- Ensures that Security posts in zones are properly manned and that reliefs are provided.
- Evaluates performance of personnel under supervision.
- Conducts investigations as assigned.
- Participates in the supervision, operation and/or support of all cross-department operations.
- Complies with Louisiana Gaming Commission Regulations and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Maintains a well-groomed appearance which reflects the professional appearance and demeanor of the Security Department.
- Meets the required attendance guidelines for the job and adhere to all company and department policies and procedures.

- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in a casino.
- High school diploma, GED or extensive professional and college level training are required.
- Must possess strong leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 1 year of Supervisory or Lead experience preferred.
- Extensive command or supervisory level law enforcement experience, and/or casino security experience, or a combination thereof, is a plus.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills with good analytical ability. including tact when dealing with difficult customers; must read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to maintain extremely confidential information.
- General familiarity with investigative procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule; must allow for changes in assignments, and priorities depending on identified needs of the company.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to obtain or possess a Louisiana Gaming License

- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip and carry heavy loads.
- Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
- Must have the ability to listen, solve problems, negotiate, use collaboration skills, and give oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
