The Gigg

We're looking for an experienced Developer to join our Gothenburg team. Working with cross functional teams, you with define and implement suitable site architectures based on functional requirements for our fantastic client base. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing designs.
• Communicate with project managers or clients on completed tasks and next steps.
• Prioritize work based on deadlines and client needs.
• Discuss progress, blockers, and upcoming tasks with designers, project managers, and other developers.
• Use automated testing tools or manual debugging to ensure smooth performance.
• Push code to GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket and create pull requests.
• Work closely with infra and support teams for manual and CI/CD deployments.

About You

• Swedish and English professional language
• System Developer/Programmer - ideally 4-5 years of experience or more
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field or a genuine personal interest and personal development in programming (or both)
• Expertise in Drupal 8/9/10+, including custom module development, theming, and configuration management
• Strong experience with Drupal Core, APIs and custom implementations
• Strong understanding of web standards and security best practices
• Strong experience with Composer and Drush
• Proficiency in version control using Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Proficiency in PHP, MariaDB/MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
• Prior experience with implementing RESTful APIs, and other web service integration methods
• Experience with front-end frameworks & related technologies (e.g. Bootstrap, Webpack, Node)
• Expertise with Drupal upgrades and migrations across minor and major versions
• Experience with performance optimization (at all levels)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
