Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Assist internal and external clients with requests and problems in a timely manner
  • Support inbound call queue handling client calls to process payroll, enter payroll information, and answer questions for clients in multiple states
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of payroll processing system to develop a trusted relationship with our clients
  • Responsible for payroll and audit functions of multiple clients
  • Balance respective payrolls based on year-end calendar by defined due dates
  • Prepare off-cycle payrolls and manual checks as necessary
  • Input data into software within required deadlines accurately
  • Manage email correspondence
  • Record necessary changes/updates as appropriate
  • Ensure all internal controls and procedures are followed for accuracy
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in the payroll TPA industry

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Acute detail and accuracy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail on many, varied tasks
