Hill International is looking for a senior Track Engineer for one of our projects based in Algeria.

• Identify the standards and practices applicable in its discipline in accordance with the

policies and procedures put in place for the project ;

• For his/her discipline, integrate and monitor workloads on the project, and initiate, if

necessary, requests for the assignment of staff in the discipline for which he/she is

responsible;

• Check the technical aspects of activities in their discipline;
• Familiarize themselves with the project quality plan and ensure that it is applied in their

discipline;

• Comment on the schedule prepared for the project;
• Carry out or have carried out by the staff assigned to their discipline all monitoring and

control activities as prescribed in the specifications;

• Follow up and take into account any comments made by the technical coordinator;
• Reviewing monitoring reports (daily reports and anomaly reports) to identify any noncompliance

with contractual requirements or quality, safety and environmental standards,

regulations and directives, work methods and workmanship, and reporting to the project

manager together with non-conformance sheets;

• Ensuring that changes to revised drawings, change notices or quality documents are

passed on to factory and site inspectors;

• Supervising site supervisors to avoid deviations or technical misunderstandings on site;
• Identify any changes to your budget and schedule;
• Analyze the performance and variances of the lots concerned and order corrective

measures after consultation;

• Ensure monitoring and quality control of documents produced by staff under their

responsibility;

• Organise the filing of documents in accordance with the system set up for the project;
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings called by the project manager or technical

coordinator,

• Quality control of factory and site tests and commissioning

Engineer in Civil engineering , B.Sc. Degree, or with Master degree or plus in Civil Engineering, same position experience, more than 10 y general experience with at least 1 metro project in similar role. French language is an advantage.
