The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:

  • Review and identify opportunities to enhance end-to-end performance of new sellers coming onboard the platform.
  • Lead a large team to implement strategy and execution on seller incubation.
  • Drive performance of all Incubation Key Account Managements within responsibility on dimensions including commercial performance, seller relationship, social media engagement, internal tools and systems and special projects etc.
  • Work closely with other key stakeholders cross teams and departments to co-develop and launch strategic initiatives that help to improve processes and sellers’ performance.
  • Extract key insights on performance of sellers and initiatives for management reporting.
  • Negotiating deals with key sellers and working with marketing to develop matching initiatives to boost revenues.
  • Lead the team to review existing practices to make solid improvement recommendations and spearhead optimisation projects based on data-backed analysis, critical thought and commercial judgment.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on developments and trends within the e-Commerce industry, especially with regard to business development and seller management.
  • Support team lead in developing seller management strategy & initiatives.
  • Drive strategic thinking on sustainable growth for seller platform.
  • Create a healthy work environment within the team and grow more future leaders.
  • Ensure correct and timely completion of team member’s performance report.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business or related fields.
  • Ideally 3 -5 years of working experience preferably in business development, sales or account management .
  • Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders.
  • People management skills and have experience taking care of a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and willingness to interact, share ideas while working with individuals from other departments.
  • Data driven, logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Result-oriented, self-driven, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Experience in E-commerce is a plus.
