The role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be part of a frontend software development team in an agile environment, which has short release cycles. You should have experience in defining test plans, executing test cases, managing defects throughout their life cycle, and working with developers and product owners in order to solve issues and provide guidelines, ensuring the quality of the product. You must have a proven track record of software testing for fast-paced organizations where time to market, quality, and rapid change are critical to the company’s success.

What You’ll be Doing...

• Design test plans, scenarios, and test cases in accordance with the specifications set forth in the User Stories;
• Analyze, comprehend and review product requirements;
• Plan and execute work, including complex testing of high-risk application areas;
• Collaborate with QAEs defining tools, guidelines, and standards to test automation in order to improve software testing process;
• Execute manual and automated tests and analyze their results in fast-paced development sprints;
• Apply significant experience from various SDLC models and provide training to team members;
• Contribute to test architecture in the project;
• Plan and execute releases reporting to all involved stakeholders;
• Research/implement new strategies to improve your project’s CI process;
• Manage defects ensuring they are correctly captured, reported, and tracked;
• Actively improve the continuous integration and delivery processes;

What We’re Looking For...

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Knowledge in continuous delivery, integration, and deployment methodologies and strategies;
• Knowledge using the browser dev tools, git and Postman will be valued;
• Knowledge or experience using Protractor, WebdriverIO or similar tools will be valued;
• Experience with mobile web apps testing will be valued;
• Experience in an Agile environment such as SCRUM or Kanban will be valued;
• Strong analytical and diagnosis skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Have a passion for quality;
• Open mind to consider different perspectives and views;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English);
• Ability to interact effectively with other functional teams;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
