Solenis is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the Eurasia FP&A function. This role serves as the strategic finance business partner to the Chief Business Officer of Eurasia and provides financial leadership across key areas, including pricing execution, volume growth, product mix enhancement, plant utilization, margin expansion, SG&A, and operating profit management. Given its high visibility within the organization, this position offers excellent growth potential for motivated candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategic Planning:

  • Own and drive the operating plan, financial forecasts, and strategic planning processes for the Eurasia region.
  • Provide insights on financial projections, ensuring a strong understanding of key assumptions and underlying business drivers.
  • Partner with the Eurasia leadership team to define, track, and improve performance on key growth metrics.

Business & Financial Analysis:

  • Oversee the monthly reporting process, analyzing sales through direct operating profit, including segmentation by product lines, markets, and corporate accounts.
  • Deliver analytics to support internal growth initiatives and provide actionable insights for performance management.
  • Collaborate with Operations FP&A to fully integrate supply and demand planning.
  • Support potential mergers and acquisitions through financial analysis and due diligence.

Executive & Board-Level Reporting:

  • Prepare materials for the C-Suite and Board of Directors, including performance reports, price/volume/mix analysis, and variance explanations against plan, forecast, and prior year.
  • Present financial insights in a concise, data-driven manner to support strategic decision-making.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately three direct reports across Europe and Asia Pacific, along with 16 offshore resources in Hyderabad, India.
  • Foster a high-performance finance culture with a focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Process Improvement & Decision Support:

  • Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting, leveraging consolidation systems and technology.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and business decision support to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally including P&L management, financial planning & analysis, and business partnership roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing finance teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and senior executives to drive business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Experience with financial and consolidation systems, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (both domestic and international).
