The Senior Cloud Analyst will lead the Detection, Response, and Remediation functions at Bath and Body Works (BBW). The analyst will develop and implement detection and prevention rulesets, manage cloud security platforms, and provide recommendations for improvements. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cloud security systems, such as CSPM, WAF and Microsoft Defender suite for unusual activity.
• Identify, monitor, and document all external facing assets, including cloud resources, domains, sub-domains, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Conduct initial analysis of suspected cloud security incidents, including determining the nature and scope of the incident, by maintaining up-to-date inventory of external assets and ensure continuous monitoring for changes or new exposures.
• Working third-party vendors to reduce and/or mitigate the malicious and fraudulent activities, such as DDOS, DOS, low volume attacks, Account Takeovers (ATO).

Qualifications

• 5+ years prior experience working in CSIRT or SOC, primarily triaging.
• Proficient in security and detection controls pertinent to Microsoft Cloud Environment.
• Knowledge of basic cryptography (TLS), common network protocols, edge routing technologies, firewall/IDS/IPS solutions, SIEM, EDR/XDR.
• Nice to have: Any cloud security certifications such as:
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
• Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
• Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Information Security or equivalent experience in technology

Salary: 135k + Bonus
