Special Information:

Job is full time partially soft funded. 40-hour work week day shift. Occasional overnight travel will occur to fulfill department training and meeting obligations.
Warm Springs WMA is located near Butte, Anaconda, and Deer Lodge. A majority of the work is based in the upper Clark Fork River valley with views of several different mountain ranges and a unique history. Our primary work focus is on the Upper Clark Fork Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs), Fishing Access Sites (FASs), and Beavertail Hill State Park.

The incumbent must be able to work with a variety of equipment, be able to work outdoors under adverse weather conditions, be in good physical condition to perform heavy work, and carry heavy loads for long distances. The incumbent must be willing to spend considerable time away from home or duty station. The incumbent will need to travel long distances in order to properly conduct a thorough work schedule on each MTFWP site.

Minimum Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills, and abilities of this position are normally attained through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or equivalency and one year of job-related experience. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Basic First Aid/CPR certification is required for this position. The incumbent must have the ability to acquire the proper license/certification and maintain through continuing education and recertification testing.

Training Assignment: This agency may use a training assignment. Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules. Conditions of the training assignment will be stated in writing at the time of hire.
