Job Description
- As a Greenplum Database Administrator you will be responsible for assisting with the design,
- implementation, and on-going support of Greenplum Analytic Data Warehouse
- Possess at least 3 years of hands on development utilizing a PostgreSQL database;
- Possess at least 2 years of managing a multi-tenant production Greenplum environment;
- Deep knowledge of the interworking’s of the Greenplum architecture
- At least 2 year of experience leveraging Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS). AWS Certification is
- preferred;
- Proven experience with identifying hardware and software related issues.
- A deep understanding of Greenplum design principals, cluster connectivity, security and the
- factors that affect distributed system performance.
- Experience with Ansible or other Infrastructure as Code software
- Expert experience with at least one of the following languages; perl, python, java, spark or
- bash.
- Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
