Job Description
Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) Coordinator to join our team. The LOTO Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the lockout/tagout program to ensure the safe maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and equipment.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies while minimizing risks to employees and subcontractors. The LOTO Coordinator will work closely with the Energy Marshall to ensure all energy isolation activities are effectively planned, communicated, and executed. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EIG Electrical Systems’ Lock Out/Tag Out program in compliance with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910.147).
- Identify all equipment and energy sources requiring lockout/tagout procedures.
- Create and update detailed LOTO procedures for specific equipment and tasks.
- Coordinate with the Energy Marshall to plan and oversee energy isolation processes, ensuring alignment with project schedules and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of LOTO processes to ensure proper implementation.
- Train employees, subcontractors, and relevant personnel on LOTO procedures, hazards, and safe work practices.
- Investigate any LOTO-related incidents or near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain LOTO equipment inventory, ensuring all locks, tags, and devices are functional and compliant.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, Energy Marshall, and safety teams to coordinate lockout/tagout activities.
- Ensure all LOTO documentation is accurate, organized, and readily accessible.
- Stay up to date with changes in regulations and best practices related to lockout/tagout processes.
Required Skills and Abilities

- A strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude, and a passion for construction.
Education and Experience
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA lockout/tagout standards and electrical safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in electrical work or occupational safety preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial electrical, construction, or industrial setting with a focus on safety programs.
- Certification in LOTO procedures or electrical safety (e.g., NFPA 70E) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on active construction sites, including climbing ladders, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various environments, such as indoor/outdoor settings and confined spaces.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel to and from the office as well as assigned job site(s).
