The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

Reporting

  • Responsible for 100% accuracy in daily/weekly/monthly/yearly operations reports.
  • Support Regional Operation Manager (ROM) by building relevant dashboards, reports, trackers, etc. to control responsible Hub/Region KPI and monitor its achievement.
  • Propose new initiatives to manage performance of responsible hubs and optimize operation activities.
  • Act as a data gate to represent ROM to provide data/input/information for other reports of the company as assigned. 

Projects

  • Initiate and help to implement new ideas to develop projects in multiple areas enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Participate in other projects of the company as assigned and play the role of a connector who has a comprehensive understanding of Hub operations.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders e.g. Operation Excellence, Procurement, Feature, BI… to support their understanding about Hub operation and work with them in specific projects.
  • Follow up feedbacks of the launched projects and adjust plans to best serve actual situations.

Internal control and audit 

  • Develop a deep understanding of SPX in general and their assigned hubs/region in particular and actively identify operational issues for improvement.
  • Do onsite visits and investigate problems arisen to report to ROM for their timely intervention and necessary guidance.
  • Report any anomalies or inconsistencies to ROM upon realization in hub/region operation.
  • Well control SOPs/regulations and be an internal trainer for the hubs/region to understand these SOPs/regulations when assigned.

Administrative task

  • Collaborate with teams in the region and take charge of administrative tasks for the whole region including but not limited to organizing events/parties, ordering stationery, controlling uniform, finalizing payment/receipts and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Prepare proposals, and presentations as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of industry experience with proven business impact.
  • Be able to communicate with different stakeholders.
  • Data analytics (Excel, SQL, etc) and an understanding of logistics operation will be a plus.
  • Have good project ownership, strong analytical thinking, ability to learn quickly and can-do mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • An ability to work within a team and working on own initiative is essential.
