PROGRAM DIRECTOR II - (T224804)
Position Summary:
The Program Director II will play a pivotal role in advancing UAB Medicine's mission by identifying and fostering opportunities in emerging areas of strategic importance, particularly in healthcare innovation, digital transformation, and novel medical technologies. This individual will lead initiatives to explore cutting-edge possibilities, build impactful relationships, and enhance the visibility of high-potential ventures that align with institutional goals.
Directs operations of a programmatic function. Operates with a high degree of independence. Responsible for program development, content and administration. Establishes program objectives, manages programmatic fiscal activities, supervises staff engaged in carrying out program activities and may require grant writing and/or other ability to secure program funding. Prepares various reports for program.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Salary Range: $60,835 - $98,855
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
