The Machine Operator for Bulk Line is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the line filler. This position requires the operation of the equipment along with the sanitation of the equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring that work is performed in a safe manner with a close attention to detail when it comes to product quality! This position must support all business systems (such as QCDSM, ISO, GMP’s) while working in a team environment. The employee in this position will revert back to the B pool and assigned based on their seniority should their line not run.
Folding bags
Help load shippers and change bags as needed
Monitoring boxes and bags that come into the fill room
Operate the bulk line filler and other line equipment in a safe and accurate manner
Perform set-up, start-up, and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed
Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation
Maintain downtime records during line operation
Responsible for conducting and documenting quality checks such as shipper checks, code dates, bag checks, and product numbers
Responsible for clean-up of the equipment after an overfill
Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Tech
Perform sanitation duties for the Bulk Line equipment and other production equipment as needed and period sanitation work as assigned
Proper handling and usage of chemicals
Perform analysis of cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation process
Maintain weight control system to meet Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam policies and procedures
Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP’s) when handling equipment
Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled
Operators could be used on other lines and CMF operations for business needs
Support Plant Quality Systems
Perform all other duties as assigned
English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, and write
Must perform job duties efficiently and safely
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds per NIOSH Lifting Equation and apply plant approved safe lifting practices for over 60 pounds
Able to work in a team environment
Must adhere to all Kraft Policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft Procedures
Able to work extended hours
