About the Team The Global Agency & Accounts (GA&A) Team partners with the world’s largest advertisers and agencies, providing strategic solutions to help brands grow through TikTok’s suite of products. We seek a consultative sales leader to join our Global Accounts Team. This role is instrumental in managing strategic partnerships with top Tech global advertisers, owning C-level relationships, and driving long-term growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced media and sales professional who can anticipate business needs, develop global strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape marketing approaches. This role requires strong business development skills, the ability to navigate complex global organizations, and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, resilient, and strategic—comfortable leading a distributed team and driving impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Build, shape, and execute a global strategy, vision, and success metrics for a key account. - Drive revenue growth, expanding direct partnerships with top global advertisers. - Establish and nurture senior client relationships, positioning TikTok as a key strategic partner. - Collaborate with regional sales teams to align global strategies with regional market execution. - Negotiate Joint Business Partnerships (JBP) agreements, ensuring alignment with client and internal objectives. - Use data and analytics to build consultative solutions that maximize client impact. - Partner with internal teams (Product, Sales, Consumer, Content) to drive TikTok’s global business objectives. - Represent TikTok at key industry and client events. - Lead a globally distributed team, fostering high performance and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications - Proven leadership experience in media, advertising, or sales, with experience managing large global accounts. - Proven C-suite relationship management and business development expertise. - Strong people management skills, ideally leading global teams. - Experience in strategy development, revenue growth, and cross-functional collaboration. - Deep understanding of global media landscape, regional nuances, and measurement frameworks. - Analytical mindset, able to translate data into insights and actionable strategies. - Experience in digital and traditional media, fluent in media terminology and measurement. Preferred Qualifications - Experience managing Tech advertisers, with a deep understanding of their business, marketing, and media challenges. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills. - Comfortable navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments and driving results. - Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. - Willingness to travel as needed. - Passion for TikTok’s platform and creative potential.
