We are seeking an experienced Clinical Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic and operational clinical marketing initiatives across the APJ region. This role will be responsible for developing and executing clinical marketing strategies, driving KOL engagement strategies, managing key marketing processes, and enhancing engagement beyond Radiation Therapy to include surgeons, medical oncologists, patients, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oncology Radiation Oncology or a related MedTech field and demonstrate the ability to translate clinical evidence into effective marketing and sales tools. Additionally, this role will collaborate with product marketing managers, clinical research teams, and global stakeholders to drive impactful marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Marketing Leadership:
- Develop and execute the clinical marketing/ adoption plans & strategiesy for the APJ region to engage stakeholders beyond Radiation Therapy.
- Lead the formation and organization of regional Clinical Advisory Boards and support the initiation of country-level advisory boards in collaboration with country marketing teams.
- Work with the Medical affairs, global marketing to ensure clinical data and real-world evidence is effectively incorporated into localised marketing and customer facing collaterals.
- Drive educational programs for internal teams, strengthening clinical marketing and value communication competencies among product managers and sales teams.WWork closely with the product marketing managers, and marketing insights manager to create the customer journey and the engagement strategies, . in support of elevating the APJ KOLs to the global stage, as well as turning them into Varian ambassadors.
- Own the KOLs database and engagement process
- Partner with product marketing managers and global teams to develop and promote value-based selling collateral and customer engagement initiatives.
- Engage with professional bodies and industry stakeholders to support continual professional development partnerships and therapy adoption initiatives.
Strategic Marketing & Business Growth:
- Own key marketing processes such as strategic marketing plan-based program budgeting, regional new product launch processes, competitive insights, and VOC (Voice of Customer) gathering.
- Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to implement best practices within APJ.
- Oversee market research efforts, monitor competitive activity, and identify emerging customer needs.
- Develop and execute regional strategic marketing plans, supporting country-level tactical execution.
- Lead key customer and stakeholder engagement programs, ensuring alignment with regional marketing and stakeholder development teams.
Operational Execution & Sales Enablement:
- Translate clinical evidence into impactful marketing and sales training materials, ensuring scientific accuracy and commercial relevance.
- Support regional market research efforts, competitive analysis, and customer insights gathering to refine marketing strategies.
- Assist Work with the product marketing teams to in the develop the clinical evidence generation plans, as well as drive the integration of clinical data into go-to-market (GTM) plans. , supporting internal & external stakeholders through training materials and strategic initiatives.
- Drive educational programs for internal teams, strengthening clinical marketing and value communication competencies among product managers and sales teams.
- Work closely with local medical and clinical affairs teams to leverage clinical trial outcomes in marketing programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience Clinical or technical expertise in Radiation Oncology or similar therapeutic areas preferred, otherwise Radiology, or a related pharmaceutical/medical field.
- Strong background in strategic and clinical marketing within a MedTech or healthcare multinational company.
- Proven ability to translate clinical evidence into marketing materials and sales enablement tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., medical sciences, healthcare, marketing, or business).
- Strong understanding of the Asia-Pacific market and regional healthcare dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% and work flexible hours to support global collaboration.
- Willingness to work with ambiguity and collaborate across teams
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Strong clinical marketing and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Ability to create engaging, clinically relevant marketing materials.
- Prior experience working with leading physicians and KOL’s and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards in the APJ region.
- Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
