Relief Pharmacist Caldwell - A Relief Pharmacist or floater will travel to assigned locations as needs dictate and will be responsible for all operations of the pharmacy including filling prescriptions and supervising all other members of the department in order to sell both prescribed and over the counter drugs. A floater pharmacist is required to have reliable transportation and must meet current company mileage reimbursement requirements.

  • Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well.
  • Be professional in appearance and demeanor.
  • Fill prescribed drugs, enter prescription data, order all prescription supplies, train other personnel in the department, operate register for pharmacy sales, and all other duties as assigned by the director of pharmacy.
  • Ensure an atmosphere of confidentiality in regards to pharmacy records, customer records and all other aspects of the department, and fully comply with OBRA 1990.
  • Assist in various activities as directed by the general operation of the store as needed.
  • Active participation in certain clinical initiatives, including MTM and immunizations, is required.
  • Be open to training or certification in compounding and/or preceptorship if requested.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Must be a licensed pharmacist licensed by the appropriate state board. Must meet all requirements mandated by the appropriate state boards of Pharmacy.
