Summary:
The Bulk Receiving Clerk is responsible for various duties and tasks related to the management of finished goods, ingredients and packaging materials being received and documentation of those transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily monitoring of bulk ingredients (flour/sugar) levels as well as managing the silo rotation
- Responsible for ensuring the rotation of raw materials in inventory to ensure inventory is used on a FIFO basis
- To assist the Plant Warehouse Manager in the documentation within Abimar’s system for the receiving and transfer of materials.
- Assist in inventory counts and support the inventory specialist as assigned.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
Requirements
- High School degree preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory control is a plus, such experience should border around warehousing and wholesale distribution.
