Overview:
A leading Brain Tumor Program is seeking a highly motivated academic Neuro-Oncologist to join a rapidly expanding team. Over the last five years, the program has experienced significant growth, adding multiple faculty members specializing in neurosurgery, neuropathology, radiation oncology, neuropsychology, neuroradiology, and neuro-oncology. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a well-integrated, multi-site brain tumor program with a strong focus on research and clinical trials.
Practice Highlights:
- Active participation in brain tumor clinical trials, including multi-institutional and multi-investigator research initiatives.
- Collaboration with a comprehensive cancer center designated by the NCI.
- Access to translational research resources and upcoming proton and heavy particle beam facilities.
- Clinical responsibilities include patient care in neuro-oncology and cancer neurology.
- Teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Leadership in developing and conducting clinical trials in neuro-oncology.
Qualifications:
- ABPN Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Florida.
- UCNS Board Eligibility in Neuro-Oncology is strongly encouraged.
