Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for a Senior Civil/Structural Designer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join our team in Atyrau/Almaty/Astana, Kazakhstan (for KZ passport holders).

• Follows company procedures and established standards to prepare engineering deliverables from roughsketches
• Utilizes skills in developing graphics utilizing computer design
• Responsible for maintaining the standard of drawings produced
• Carry out full yellow line checking of Civil/Structural drawings
• Training and mentoring of less experienced Designers
• Typical work scope for the Civil/Structural group includes steel pipe-racks, and bridges, access stairs and platforms, buildings, reinforced concrete foundations and below ground structures, earthworks, roads, drainage, and occasional architectural work 
• Engineering degree in related field
• Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
• Work experience in the respective position no less than 5-7 years
• Experience in developing design documentation in accordance with RoK regulatory documents
• Experience on projects within EPC contract (Engineering, Supply and Construction)
