MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or the equivalent, and Two years of college (48 units), or Associate degree (or higher), or Pass a State or local academic assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction (California Basic Education Skills Test) Knowledgeable in Math and Reading teaching techniques is preferred. • Experience in related tutorial and mentoring is preferred. • Knowledgeable in Math and Reading teaching techniques is preferred. • Bilingual speaking skills is desired. • A demonstrated interest in a teaching career is desired. • Proficient level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications • Ability to travel in performance of job duties is required. • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds The organization is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and is family/medical leave compliant.
