Lincoln Tech has an exciting opportunity for Heavy Equipment Operators to launch Lincoln's brand-new Heavy Equipment Operations program. We are seeking candidates with Heavy Equipment experience to jump-start the career path of students interested in the field of Heavy Equipment Operations. No teaching experience is necessary; your expertise along with our onboarding training prepares you to teach in the classroom. Bring your enthusiasm for the industry and help us shape the next generation of Heavy Equipment Operators.

Responsibilities of a Heavy Equipment Operator Instructor

• Educate students about basic construction skills including but not limited to: safety, tools, construction math, construction drawings and basic rigging using well-established curricula
• Demonstrate Heavy Equipment expertise in our fully equipped facility
• Encourage student performance and growth skills
• Create a focused and engaged learning environment
• Support the academic success of our students
• Prepare students for a career in Heavy Equipment Operations

Requirements of a Heavy Equipment Operator Instructor

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years verifiable field experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
• OEM or equivalent industry-related training
• Basic computer skills
