Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: West Caldwell, NJ
Pay: $20 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC programming (e.g., G-code) and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC machines, ensuring proper calibration and readiness for production.
- Load and unload materials into the machine.
- Input and load the correct program into the CNC machine.
- Adjust machine settings (speed, feed rates, etc.) based on technical specifications.
- Start the machine and closely monitor its performance during operations to ensure proper functioning.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any machine-related issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of CNC machine types (milling, lathe, etc.) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time during machine setup and operation.
