We are looking for a Consultant to be part of the leading Industry X practice in Accenture. We are looking for a versatile profile with a broad understanding of Renewables, Smart Grid and Energy Transition.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the latest advancements in technology and how it can be applied to optimize operations and drive innovation in the energy and utilities domain.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Technical:

• Stay updated of the latest trends, developments, and competitive landscape in technology and engineering within the energy and utilities sector.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions to potential clients.

Business Development:

• Conduct comprehensive consultations to understand clients' unique challenges and requirements.
• Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations and build strong relationships.
• Create compelling and customized proposals, presentations, and demonstrations showcasing the benefits of Industry X solutions for clients.
• Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on trends and their potential impact on their operations.
• Ability to execute projects and bring innovation to our clients.

Business Acumen:

• Consultancy experience or previous experience working in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Renewables and Capital Projects:
  • Understanding of the lifecycle and value chain of Renewable projects (Wind, solar, battery storage, hybrid projects).
  • Knowledge of key topics in pre-development, construction and O&M phases.
  • Functional knowledge of the most usual tools and technologies required and used across the different phases.
• Asset Optimization in Oil, Gas and Utilities, combining engineering and technological approaches to reduce downtime, and maximizing asset lifespan.
• Smart Grid/Distribution
• Understanding of technical aspects and requirements of smart grid projects.
• Foundation of principles and concepts of electrical engineering.
• Knowledge in managing transmission grids, electrical systems and Transmission technologies, industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Familiar with the standards, regulations, and policies that govern the power sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of proven experience in sales and consulting, preferably with a focus on asset management, power grid optimization, or related topics in the energy and utilities sector.
• Drive, ambition and initiative to help grow Accenture´s business at functional and Industry level.
• In-depth knowledge of Industry X technologies, including IoT, AI, data analytics, and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including ability to clearly communicate ideas and results on all organization levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• People development and team building skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (mandatory) and Spanish (plus).
• Availability to travel.
