Detail essential job responsibilities, requirements and key deliverables for the role:

• Answer phone/email with excellence 
• Quote pricing and place or lookup orders for customers
• Support outside sales with crossing numbers
• Perform customer follow-ups
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches 
• Cold-call prospects that are generated by internal sources

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Adjust as necessary: Sitting 70%, standing/walking 30%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk and hear.

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING REQUIRED:

After initial training period, must be able to demonstrate competency as detailed on training record for position title.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a sales role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using computer, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
