Do you have a passion for procurement and procurement contract management and are you ready to join our team and actively support our fast-growing company? We are looking for a Subcontracting Manager (m/f/d) expert who is willing to take responsibility for assigned complex and technically demanding work packages from contract award to project completion. In this role, you will be working with interdisciplinary interfaces to functional areas such as engineering, project and commercial management, scheduling, legal and construction management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance
• Commercial processing of subcontractor claims
• Supplement and change management to/from subcontractors
• Claim management in close coordination with contract management
• Minimization of risks that may arise due to delays on the part of subcontractors
• Negotiating the conclusion of contracts
• Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality, scheduling and project management
• Continuous improvement management through regular feedback, e.g. lessons learned
• Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager

Show your expertise

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Several years’ experience in project management in large-scale projects, preferably in the construction or plant engineering industry
• Knowledge of electrical systems (MSR, NS, MSR) and ability to communicate with suppliers on an eye-to-eye level
• Proficient in both English and German, spoken and written
• Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase
• Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style
