Job Summary:
The LPN performs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and is responsible and accountable to the Director of Nurses. The LPN is delegated assignments by the RN to achieve quality Resident care. The LPN shall assist the RN in the implementation of the nursing process by providing direct Resident care as evidenced, but not limited to, Resident care documentation, direct observation, and Resident assessment. The LPN administers medications to the residents on a daily basis. The LPN shall demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality Resident care. The LPN shall have the ability to appropriately read and comprehend data collected which reflects the Resident's status and interprets the data needed to identify each Resident's level of need and care. Will perform other job duties as needed.

Education/Skills
Graduate of a recognized non-online LPN program required.
Work Experience:
One year in long-term care nursing care preferred.
