The Amazon Kindle Engineering Support team provides tier 3/4 production engineering support and is also responsible for providing multifaceted services to the Kindle digital product family of development teams and working with production operations teams for software product release coordination and deployment. This job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks that will define your success.

The Amazon Books team is looking for a Support Engineer. Books Shopping org now supports customised shopping experiences for customers on Kindle e-ink and Fire devices, as well as third party tablets, smartphones, and computers; and we deliver this experience in over a dozen countries. As a support Engineer you will also be responsible for providing multifaceted services to the Kindle digital product family of development teams in reducing the operation workload and coming up with innovative tools to improve the efficiency.
