• Job Summary:**

As a Host/Hostess at The Dominion Country Club, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all guests feel welcome and comfortable. You will play a crucial role in the overall dining experience by managing reservations, seating arrangements, and maintaining a smooth workflow in the restaurant.

• Key Responsibilities:**
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and farewell them upon departure.
• Manage seating arrangements and waitlists effectively to optimize table turnover.
• Take reservations via phone and in-person, ensuring accurate recording and communication to the dining staff.
• Provide guests with menus, inform them of any specials, and answer any initial questions they may have.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station, dining room, and entrance.
• Assist in managing customer flow during peak dining hours.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency, escalating to management as necessary.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations as well as club policies.
• Qualifications:**
• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in handling reservations and managing restaurant seating.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
