Job Description

In your role as a Quality Manager for Magnetic Sensors for Automotive applications, you will ensure our quality standards and those of our customers. As a Quality Manager, you are actively involved in the development of new products and are significantly involved in the product release process and are responsible for these up to the end of their life cycle. If you are open-minded, outgoing and able to build sustainable relationships, then this is the right position for you.

In your new role you will:

  • Manage and secure product quality (incl. functional safety, software, cyber security upon requirement) throughout the lifecycle incl. development and change management incl. regularly monitoring and improvement
  • Definition and operational implementation of quality strategies in consultation with all project stakeholders. This includes planning, designing, monitoring and executing product qualifications in collaboration with the reliability labs, processing the results and final evaluation with the project team
  • Ensure that quality standards and quality requirements from customer are kept/decided/ fulfilled/monitored and documented
  • Mitigate risks and deviations versus requirements and performance and manage problem solving (close the gap)
  • Execute release management for defined product range and documentation according to processes/rules and customer requirements
  • Support of production during ramp up
  • Customer communication on all quality-relevant topics
  • Support for quality-related problems/issues, for example in the case of returns or production breakdowns/deviations
  • Identify and address continuous improvement measures
  • Apply the optimum according to quality, cost and time to market based on the application requirements

Your Profile

You drive your tasks forward with dedication, passion and proactivity. At the same time, your communication skills help you to collaborate profitably across departments and countries, as a team and with internal partners.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Have successfully completed successfully a master-degree or equivalent in engineering, physics or comparable technical-scientific background
  • Ideally, you have experience in FE-Technology and/or BE-Assembly and Test in semiconductor industry
  • Already have experience in quality management of integrated semiconductor products, problem solving and quality tools such as 8D/FMEA/Risk Assessments
  • Your expertise is on product reliability, functional safety, ideally certified, and in quality tools
  • Mindset for high quality standard of automotive applications, based on knowledge in process compliance according to IATF16949, ISO26262, ISO21434, AEC-Q100, JEDEC, ASPICE
  • Ideally, you have a good knowledge in cyber security
  • Approach problems pragmatically and proactively
  • Interact between customers, development, manufacturing and other stakeholders with sensitivity and a distinct soft skill set, also on an intercultural level
  • You are fluent in English language. German as a plus
  • 1+ years relevant working experience in R&D or Quality management role ideally in semiconductor industry
