Summary
Under direct supervision, transfers products/materials, into and/or out of the warehouse. Unloads trailers and moves materials throughout the facility.
Under general supervision, transfers products/materials, into and/or out of the warehouse. Loads/unloads trailers and moves materials throughout the facility. Maintains information for recording keeping.
Performs manual and complex shipping, receiving, packing, and warehouse duties. Prepares related documentation and maintains files/records. Provides leadership to lower-level staff.

Essential Functions
- Unloads trucks with incoming and outgoing materials.
- Transfers material, equipment, kits, and supplies required for assembly areas.
- Stacks pallets and arranges materials as directed, while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Beginner skills on a powered industrial truck such as, but not limited to, forklifts or cherry pickers.
- Handles, allocates, and transfers material, equipment, kits, supplies, and shortages in assembly areas.
- Verifies and maintains stock records, logs, reports, and other documentation.
- Moves materials to storage or staging areas and ensures proper placement in appropriate location.
- Maintains productivity standards for each operational area.
- Intermediate skills on a powered industrial truck such as, but not limited to, forklifts or cherry pickers.
- Maintains inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies.
- Recognizes damaged product during the warehousing process and takes the appropriate action when discovered.
- Responds to material requests from internal customers.
- Responsible and accountable for receipt, storage, and handling of hazardous materials.
- Cycle counts inventory as needed.
- Recommends countermeasure for inventory related discrepancies
- Advanced skills on a powered industrial truck such as, but not limited to, forklifts or cherry pickers.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Little or no prior relevant experience is required.
Must be dependable and work well in a team environment.
High School Diploma or GED.
Two years of warehouse experience is required. Ability to operate materials handling equipment including forklifts, pallet handler, and hand trucks.
High School Diploma or GED.
Five years of warehouse experience is required. Solid verbal communication and listening skills. Prior experience tracking and updating information in an ERP system is desired.
Physical Demands (all levels):
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Walk for extended periods of time.
- Maintain balance to prevent falling.
- Hold arms and hands in one position for extended periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to move and assemble small parts.
- Repetitive motions of body parts.
- Coordinated use of hands and feet to operate equipment.
- Carry or move materials and equipment weighing up to 51 lbs. Lift objects of various weights in different directions.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and work platforms.
- Operate manual and powered hand tools (e.g., pneumatic rivet and staple guns; drills; drivers; and foaming guns).
- Operate powered industrial trucks and equipment (e.g., lifts, pallet jacks, and aerial platforms).
- Operate machinery (e.g., press brakes, refrigerant charging stations, and hoists).
- Frequent manual labor that includes bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Squat and kneel to access materials and equipment in tight or enclosed spaces. Occasionally crawl to access equipment.
- Handle chemicals.
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- Communicate with others to exchange information.
- When travel is required, visual acuity to operate motor vehicle in daytime and nighttime.
Work Environment (all levels):
- Works in manufacturing, warehouse, and/or supporting areas. Worker must be aware of and exercise caution around hazardous conditions such as electricity, moving equipment, moving parts, refrigerants, chemicals, torches, solvents, dust, dirt, fumes, and contaminants.
- Indoor and outdoor work tasks subject worker to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Outdoor environmental conditions could include heat and cold; precipitation; wind; and sunlight.
- Exposure to vibrations and moderate-to-loud noises.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required of the job and work area. PPE includes but is not limited to safety glasses, safety googles, face shields, welding shields, protective welding clothing, safety toed footwear, hearing protection, gloves, aprons, protective sleeves, hard hats, safety harnesses, and respiratory protection.
