You Are:

You are a passionate and experienced Senior Platform Engineer who thrives in a dynamic and innovative environment. With a strong background in software development and platform engineering, you excel at designing scalable, modular solutions and have a deep understanding of distributed computing. You are proficient in cloud computing services and container technologies, and you have a proven track record of enhancing CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise extends to AI and machine learning frameworks, and you are committed to incorporating these technologies to create smarter workflows and predictive analytics. Your excellent problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and leadership qualities enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You are eager to drive technological advancements and ensure our platforms are robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Innovate and implement state-of-the-art technologies within our product development lifecycle.
• Design and develop scalable, modular platform solutions that promote reuse and integration into our diverse product suite.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and incorporate user feedback into the platform's development.
• Drive the strategy for containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies.
• Enhance our CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Incorporate AI and machine learning capabilities into the platform to facilitate smarter workflows and predictive analytics.
• Ensure the platform's infrastructure is robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards.

• Transform our R&D products through the adoption of advanced cloud, containerization, CI/CD, and AI technologies.
• Streamline our EDA/Chip design processes, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of the industry.
• Enhance the efficiency and reliability of our build, test, and deployment processes.
• Foster innovation by incorporating AI and machine learning capabilities into our platforms.
• Ensure our platforms are secure, compliant, and capable of meeting industry standards.
• Drive technological advancements that contribute to the overall success and innovation of Synopsys.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development and platform engineering.
• Deep understanding of distributed computing, CAP theorem, and system design tradeoffs.
• Proven expertise in cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, helm), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Strong background in developing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with automation tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Harness.io, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong background in observability tech stack such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Experience with AI/machine learning frameworks and tools is highly desirable.
• Programming language: Python.
• Data management/model deployment/basics of AI/ML.
• Knowledge in Data pipelines/CI/CD (GitOps).
