Coterra is hiring a Control Room Operator in Midland, Texas
As a Control Room Operator for Coterra, you are responsible for monitoring and supporting field operations in a 24/7 control room. The operator will need to respond to events in a timely manner and manage events until resolution. This position will support Coterra’s goals for safe operations, emissions’ reductions, improved runtime, and lowered operating cost. The position will dispatch field personnel to locations and create work orders for tracking of event specific activities. The Control Room Operator will help diagnose issues through the interpretation of SCADA data and communicate to appropriate staff members. This position requires an individual to solve a range of mid-level to difficult operational challenges which requires a detail-oriented skill set with exceptional problem-solving skills. This position does require a rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays, and is located in Midland, Texas.
