ECS is seeking an ARPA-H Autonomous Robotics Healthcare Technical Advisor to work in our remote office. 

Are you a passionate scientist with a background in biomedical research that supports R&D initiatives through the delivery of expertise in your given field? Are you ready to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) in their mission to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone by supporting complex and leading-edge R&D projects designed to arrive at high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems?

ECS is seeking a talented and driven Robotics Engineer / Interdisciplinary Scientist Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a scientific and engineering technical background to join our team in support of ARPA-H. Under the leadership of a Program Manager, you will serve as a Systems, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA)—providing support and thought leadership for programs developing the future of affordable, safe autonomous robotic assistive devices for the elderly and disabled. 

In this role, you will perform the following SETA duties:

  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team building the future of affordable, safe autonomous robotic assistive devices for the elderly and disabled.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across all aspects of integrated robotics systems development and factors affecting operational deployment in direct human contact applications
  • Evaluate technical proposals for scientific merit and innovation. Provide feedback, organize reviewer comments, draft recommendations and project summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Perform market analyses, technical due diligence, and literature reviews and generate briefing documents summarizing technical topics related to application of autonomous mobile robots and exoskeletons to health care applications for the elderly and disabled.
  • Develop technical and administrative programmatic documentation on short timelines to communicate technical approach, progress, cost, schedule and risk for advanced robotics development efforts

Salary Range: $100,000-$180,000
