Program Manager Life Safety, RN
Full time, Monday - Friday, Days
Manage operations for Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Life safety program. Works with leaders and team members to support emergency responses at DHMC.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the adherence to AHA standards.
- Coordinate with the DH Life Support manager.
- Oversee the Code Net Rescue system and the fleet of defibrillators.
- Review performance data of all Life Safety response teams and report the status to the life safety committee and senior leadership.
- Coordinate and train life safety emergency response teams.
- Chair the Life Safety Committee.
- Collaboration with SICU UNM and Respiratory Care manager regarding personnel for Life Safety response teams.
- Growth, development, and strategic planning of the life safety programs.
- Manage the DH emergency management system software system.
- Responsible for the library of Life Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of healthcare experience
- Previous experience working in life safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and act autonomously
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple requests at once
- Preferred:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Previous experience working in data abstraction or quality improvement desired
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt
- Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Licensed RN with NH Eligibility
- BLS upon hire
- ACLS within 180 days
- PALS within 180 days
