HDR is looking for a Senior Power Generation Project and Client Manager to join our team.
Our key services relevant to this position encompass resource planning, project development, detailed design, and owner’s engineer work for new and existing utility scale generation facilities including natural gas, hydrogen, solar, energy storage, and hydroelectric power plants as well as distributed generation applications to support electrification and microgrids for resilience.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Senior Power Generation Project and Client Manager, you will help develop a highly diverse power and energy business across numerous clients in the region. In this role you will focus on fostering existing and developing new power and energy business with utility power and energy developer clients, both locally and in collaboration with other HDR Areas. You will be in position to develop, inspire, lead and oversee the activities of a multi-discipline engineering and project team involving mechanical, chemical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and project controls disciplines.
This position will be responsible for deepening relationships with local and regional clients to grow HDR’s market presence and develop meaningful client relationships. As these relationships grow, this individual will be required to manage key projects, collaborate with local and regional execution teams, and develop a staffing strategy to support these clients in the future.
