As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

  • Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of WebLogic application servers.
  • Experience in Monitoring server performance and availability, including logging and troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience in Applying patches, updates, and upgrades to WebLogic servers as required.
  • Support the deployment and management of applications on WebLogic servers.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure successful application deployment and integration.
  • Experience in Performing routine backups and recovery tasks to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Experience in Providing support for WebLogic-related incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Experience in Assisting with debugging and resolving application server issues in collaboration with development and operations teams.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions as needed.
  • Experience in administration of Fusion MW Component.
  • Good understanding of WebLogic Server and application server concepts.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and basic command-line operations.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge on OEM monitoring tool 
  • Basic knowledge on database administration (Oracle) like installation, patching, cloning, schema management etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud (OCI, AWS or AZURE)
  • Basic knowledge in administering Oracle SOA Suite is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and enterprise application architecture.
