Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a company in Granbury, Texas to recruit several Miner Technicians. The ideal candidate for these roles will have experience working in construction, production, manufacturing, or a related field and will have strong foundational knowledge of electronics, troubleshooting, etc. These are highly competitive positions with great benefits that will start immediately!
Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities for Miner Tech:
- Perform routine inspections on mining equipment to identify and address
- potential issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of machinery.
- Collaborate with mining engineers and other team members to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all mining operations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new mining equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and efficiency, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety within the mining team.
- Operate various tools and machinery required for maintenance tasks.
- Stay informed about advancements in mining technology and equipment for continuous improvement.
- On call during emergencies.
Education/Experience/Skills for Miner Tech:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in mining technology is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year experience production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting.
- Ideal candidates will have some experience in production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, machinery, and associated technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent teamwork and communications skills and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to be on your feet 7 hours per day.
- Ability to lift/carry 30-50 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety guidelines.
Schedule/Pay:
- Monday through Friday, day shift 8a-5p
- MUST be willing to be on-call after hours for emergencies
- Pay is $23.00 an hour
- Potential for bonuses and other supplemental pay
