In this role you will work with technical teams and business partners to ensure that projects are delivered within timelines and the intended business objectives. In doing this, you will follow project management methodology, ensuring that the solution implemented is both supportable and sustainable.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be accountable for the execution of project processes and deliverables in line with the project plan, including planning, financial forecasting, program communications, risk and issue tracking, and scope management.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Project work will involve: Supporting the ramp-up plan for new distribution center (greenfield site delivery), Transformation of existing distribution centers to upgraded Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System platform, and Supporting ongoing automation system enhancements
  • Will work on strategic programs, enhancements, continuous improvements and stability initiatives (major incident management and escalation support)
  • Financial Management - develop and actively manage a budget and resource plan, providing up to date financial status and monthly cost plans differentiating between operational and capital expenditures
  • Communication – provide clear, consistent and timely messaging; both verbal and written; within the team and to technology and business leadership; facilitate effective and timely meetings
  • You will lead and collaborate with cross-functional project teams (i.e. Infrastructure, Network, Security, and external vendor partners) to assist with the implementation of complex innovative solutions 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Project Plans, Stakeholder Registers, RAID logs, Weekly Updates, SteerCo updates, and Project financials, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

What You Bring: 

  • Seasoned Project Manager: Demonstrating autonomy and leadership by taking initiative and directing cross-functional project teams effectively, drawing from a wealth of experience in driving project success independently.
  • IT delivery function; Proven success developing and implementing projects with supply chain systems and within a complex organization 
  • Demonstrated experience managing business expectations, leading project review meetings, managing and setting priorities where appropriate
  • Innovative problem-solver: Constantly identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement, reflecting a proactive approach to project management refined through past experiences.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Project, MS Office Suite, Jira, Confluence and experience with Time Management tools (eg. Clarity or similar financial management tool).
