Drayhorse Canning is a brand new co-packing facility in Philadephia. We have a 50 CPM PSA canning line and have Distilling, Brewing and Winery licenses. We are focused on alcoholic beverages but we plan to expand to non-alc as well. We are a forward thinking .

Job Summary:

The packaging operator is the backbone of our business. Working in tandem with the can line operator and the warehouse manager to pack and track with the highest level of quality assurance. Right now we are a small team so the work will include everything from working with the batching of cocktails, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas all the way through palletizing products and loading trucks. We have an ambitious vision for sucess and we are looking for a like minded individual. We are seeking a growth minded person that is looking for fast career growth opportunities in th pursuit of producing high quality beverages in a safe and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities: 

• Adherence to safety standards, Master Sanitation Schedule, and all relevant rules and regulations. Making sure to always maintain safe working practices and complete all documentation in a timely manner.
• finished goods handling and organization including proper labeling, storage, and transportation of goods, with attention to detail in batch rotation and lot numbers.
• Maintaining a clean work environment. 
• Canning and packaging line operation as needed 
• Loading and unloading trucks and assisting in warehouse as needed
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

This is an entry level position. Prior experience in a beverage environment is a plus but not required.
