The Shu Chien-Gene Lay Department of Bioengineering (https://be.ucsd.edu/), which administers undergraduate and graduate degree programs for the Jacobs School of Engineering, invites applications for temporary, non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18). Courses may include undergraduate lower- and upper-division courses in the Department’s undergraduate majors, which include Bioengineering, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Bioengineering/BioSystems and Bioengineering/Bioinformatics, undergraduate degree majors and in our graduate degree programs.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
PhD or advancement to candidacy in Bioengineering, a related Engineering or Health Sciences discipline.
Minimum of one quarter or semester teaching one or more courses at the undergraduate or graduate level, either as Instructor of Record or as a Teaching Assistant. Will consider equivalent industry experience such as presenting one or more seminars, or conducting one or more trainings.
Preferred qualifications PhD in Bioengineering
