Responsibilities

We are looking for dedicated candidates with experience in the area of AI & Data Analytics for our Consulting Team who enjoy developing durable solutions that generate a direct impact for our customers in collaboration with a diverse set of consultants and data experts

The following topics are of specific interest:

  • Executes exciting project opportunities using Data and Analytics / Data Science skills with Fortune 500 companies across different industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Transportation, Consumer Goods, and Industrial Goods
  • Owns and drives individual work streams during client engagements
  • Analyzes current situation and develops clear understanding and critical perspective of underlying root causes
  • Design discrete optimization solutions and independently develops and implements project concepts and final deliverables, including analytics approaches from understanding the challenge to solution implementation (e.g. in the areas of mixed integer optimization and resource-constrained network optimization)
  • Supports the management and responsible parties of the project
  • Serves as liaison to client management team and project team
  • Supports business development by creating and presenting exceptional project proposals with direct support of leadership team
  • Provides ongoing project feedback and other development support to Porsche Consulting team members

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel (traveling domestic and abroad)
  • Excellent command of English, where additional language skills are a distinct advantage
  • Application of advanced optimization methods (describe problem/constraint set, apply/adjust heuristics and model assessment) to process real world data and planning restrictions in a business/management context

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree from renowned institutions of higher education, and demonstrated high academic track record. Major in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
  • 7 years of total relevant professional experience; or minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in conjunction with a graduate degree 
  • Progressive experience in project management roles and proven track record delivering projects
  • Demonstrable expertise in the areas of analytical methods and technologies (e.g. machine learning, optimization and operations research) and selected frameworks/software (e.g. OpenMDAO, GEKKO or Gurobi)
  • 2+ years of experience in data management and analytics platforms/programming (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Tableau)
  • Experience with development and implementation of strategic initiatives or transformation programs
  • High level of business acumen and consultative expertise
  • Comfort in working in environments with a high degree of ambiguity and having the ability to define and independently drive towards clear objectives
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 80%
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to structure large amounts of data into a clear narrative while driving appropriate focus on key elements and leading towards a defined outcome or recommendation
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office applications
  • Strong desire to mentor and assist in the professional development of colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or graduate degree from renowned institutions of higher education
  • Second language fluency in Spanish or French a plus
