The Customer Liaison Demand administrator role is primarily responsible for providing Naval stores/equipment demand input and progression for both a military and civilian customer base. This consists of key engagement with Royal Navy ships including Air Craft Carriers, T45 destroyers, T23 Frigates, Mine Counter Measure vessels, Royal Fleet Auxiliary Vessels, Patrol vessels, Shore establishments, Army, Contractor and other units in support of operational deployments and when alongside in the UK. In collaboration with business partners, item owners and Fleet Operations we deliver demand requirement solutions IAW the tri service Defence Logistics Framework Standard Priority System.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong professional background and key personal attributes that align with the demands of the position. Experience in working effectively under pressure is essential, as the role requires the ability to manage competing priorities with speed and accuracy. Strong communication skills are crucial, ensuring clear and professional interactions with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency with computer systems and have a working knowledge of Microsoft products, enabling them to efficiently manage tasks and maintain records.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance.
