Job Description:
- Perform high-quality radiographic studies and electrocardiographs following department standards.
- Ensure patient safety by verifying identity, explaining procedures, and using appropriate radiation safety measures.
- Maintain accurate records and images within electronic systems (PACS, RIS, HIS).
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to expedite procedures.
- Uphold confidentiality and provide professional, compassionate patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current certifications.
Expected Salary:
$32.00–$34.00 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Florida General Radiographer certificate.
- Minimum of two years of experience in general radiography.
- Proficiency in diagnostic x-ray views, especially orthopedic imaging.
- Strong ability to work independently, with dependability and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be punctual and have reliable attendance.
- Successful completion of a formal educational program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT accrediting body.
- Initial ARRT (R) Certification by exam and current valid ARRT (R) registration.
- Two years experience in available diagnostic and orthopedic X-ray preferred.
